In years past, owners Jack & Andrea Carnevale have brought to life many tributes to Christmas, from the lighting of the 30 foot Norfolk Pine on December 1st accompanied by hot cocoa & treats from the bakeshop for families to kick-off their celebration of the holidays, to Breakfast with Santa (a brunch held in our Great Hall including a very special personal visit with Santa Clause himself). They have always aimed to please and create magical experiences, including when the Great Hall Courtyard was transformed into an ice skating rink for all to enjoy.
As these traditions are no longer, they have recently added new experiences to their collection of holiday celebrations; from fully decorated Christmas Trees in the Grand Guest Suites for those wanting to feel the comfort of home during their stay, to the Feast of the Seven Fishes in the Great Hall (featuring an Italian seafood menu offering curated by the talented BVI culinary team along with wine paired perfectly to complement each course), to imbibing in the Tavern, next to the lady that holds all the holiday cheer, Ms. Priscilla herself. Priscilla is a local favorite and if you have yet to meet her, she will be on display this December with her dog, Penny.
